ABOUT ME

Aloha & Welcome to Watch Mom Make $100K!

I’m Takara, 30-something mom of four (ages 10 months, 5, 7, and 9). I live in Hawaii and own a fitness business in Honolulu. I’m on a mission to learn how to earn $100K in profit (not gross)!

Thank you for so much for visiting my blog 🙂

This might sounds silly, but when my first child was born, I thought that motherhood would be the end of reaching goals and earning a nice income. I interpreted being a good mother and wife to mean, replacing my own goals, interests, and dreams with focusing solely on the needs of my family. (aka motherhood martyrdom) As a result, I mourned the loss of my pre-mom life for several years, I often felt uninspired, and I was quite disappointed with my new life as a stay-at-home mom because I wasn’t setting goals or doing the things I really wanted to do.

It was my husband, who first introduced me to FIT4MOM, a fitness franchise, just before my second child was born. I attended my first class and was immediately welcomed and inspired by all of the moms in the community- who were going through similar struggles. I was also inspired by the owner of the franchise at that time, who had three children, was pregnant with her fourth, and was running a successful business with a thriving community of moms.

Since then, I purchased my very own franchise as a resell, June of 2015, when my youngest was three months old. It continues to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve learned that motherhood is not the end of anything- especially not setting goals, enjoying a healthy lifestyle, or earning an income. FIT4MOM has showed me that motherhood is just the beginning; for that, I will forever be grateful to Lisa Druxman, Founder of FIT4MOM.

I created this blog to share my journey and insight into running a successful business, as a mother-of-three. My goal is to build a successful business that generates $100K in annual profit. (Read “The Why Behind My $100K Goal”) This is my space to share my wins, failures, goals, tips, and to hold myself accountable (View My Income Reports).

Here’s to motherhood, continuing to pursue our passion, and teaching our kids how to do the same!

Love + Aloha
